City Futures – Transport & Facilities Management
Following a recent restructuring within Transport & Facilities Management, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Community Technician (Electrical) to join the Corporate Repairs Team.
This is a 12-month temporary position working 37 hours per week, based at Manor Lane Depot.
The successful candidate will undertake a range of responsive and planned electrical maintenance works across Sheffield City Council's diverse commercial property portfolio.
The estate includes landmarks and operational buildings such as the Town Hall, libraries, depots, crematoriums, the Medico Legal Centre, and major office accommodation including Moorfoot.
About You
- Hold relevant electrical qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
- Have proven experience carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance within commercial properties.
- Be flexible, highly motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
