Job description
Science Technician – well-equipped and high-achieving secondary school – Oxford Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School information: This is an 11–18 well-established, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Oxford , known for its strong academic performance and well-resourced Science Department. The school has a reputation for high standards, excellent teaching, and a structured learning environment where students are motivated and eager to succeed. The Science Department is a key strength, offering a broad and engaging curriculum across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The department benefits from modern laboratories, high-quality equipment, and a collaborative team of staff committed to delivering outstanding practical learning experiences. Role overview: As a Science Technician, you will support the delivery of practical Science lessons, ensuring that equipment and materials are prepared safely and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in enabling high-quality teaching and hands-on learning.
