Job description
Receptionist – Outstanding Secondary School – Luton (Bedfordshire) Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are looking to appoint a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join an Outstanding secondary school in Luton. This is a key front-facing role providing a positive first impression for visitors, parents and students. The successful candidate will manage enquiries, handle calls and provide administrative support across the school. You will play an important role in ensuring the reception area operates efficiently and professionally at all times. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisation and a calm, professional approach. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Outstanding Ofsted Rated School in Luton with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The school serves a diverse community and is known for its supportive ethos, where positive relationships and high expectations underpin daily practice. Students are respectful, motivated and eager to succeed. Staff benefit from a collaborative professional culture, strong leadership and a clear focus on development.
