This is a senior opportunity for a technically strong Serious Injury lawyer to join a highly regarded practice handling complex, high-value claimant work. The firm is recognised across the market for its expertise in catastrophic and life-changing injury claims, offering a genuine focus on quality, client outcomes and long-term case strategy.
You will be joining a business that provides the time, autonomy and infrastructure to manage complex matters properly, working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment alongside leading experts in the field.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing a portfolio of complex Serious Injury claims, predominantly RTA-based (£150k - multi-million)
  • Leading case strategy across the full lifecycle of claims, including liability, quantum and rehabilitation
  • Working closely with medical experts, counsel, case managers and other specialists to deliver best outcomes
  • Securing interim payments and rehabilitation support to aid client recovery
  • Drafting high-quality legal documentation including pleadings and schedules of loss
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional client care
  • Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners, paralegals and support staff
  • Supporting wider team development and contributing to best practice within the department

What they're looking for
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent experience)
  • Typically 8+ years' experience within Serious Injury / Catastrophic Injury
  • Proven track record handling complex, high-value multi-track claims
  • Strong litigation skills and understanding of court procedures
  • Experience leading cases and managing client relationships at a senior level
  • Ability to mentor and support junior team members
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary between £60,000 - £90,000 (DOE)
  • Annual performance-related bonus
  • Fully remote working with flexibility
  • High-quality, complex caseload with genuine autonomy
  • Clear progression pathways into senior leadership roles
  • Private healthcare, life assurance and income protection
  • Flexible benefits including buy/sell holiday options
  • Strong investment in training, development and long-term career progression
  • A collaborative, supportive and forward-thinking working environment
