Job description
We are working with a prestigious Independent School in Nottingham seeking a polished and organised Admissions Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time role is central to the school’s "Pride in Achievement" ethos and its status as a leading light in the East Midlands. The Role As the first point of contact for prospective families, you will manage the student recruitment journey with total precision and humanity. We are looking for a professional who can lead by example, managing the admissions database and coordinating entrance examinations in a technology-rich environment. Your duties will include managing complex enquiries, hosting open mornings, and ensuring all data reflects the school’s scholarly, well-ordered atmosphere. This role requires a specialist with a pioneering spirit who can maintain a tranquil workspace even during peak recruitment seasons. You will work in a flourishing office where staff are treated as valued peers and professional excellence is the cornerstone of success. You will be instrumental in identifying and cherishing the talents of future scholars. About the School This Nottingham school is defined by a wonderful sense of tradition and academic excellence. Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only + 2 weeks) Start Date: ASAP | Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Salary: Paid based on experience (School Discretion) Requirement: Must have Right to Work in the UK and previous school experience is a must.
