Job description
We are recruiting a high-calibre Mathematics Teacher for a prestigious Independent Prep school in East Sussex. This is a full-time, maternity cover position starting in September 2026. The role is ideal for a specialist who enjoys preparing pupils (ages 2–14) for the transition to senior school through a balanced and academic approach. The Role Instructional Excellence: Deliver a rigorous Mathematics curriculum that blends Common Entrance content with Baccalaureate skill development. Scholarly Support: Guide pupils through the "More Able and Talented" programme while providing technical support for those accessing learning assistance, ensuring every child reaches their highest potential. Transition Focus: Prepare students for their onward journey to senior school by fostering mathematical rigour alongside essential "soft skills."
