Job description
School Business Manager (SBM) – Outstanding Secondary School – Winchester (Hampshire) Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to join an Outstanding secondary school in Winchester. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to play a key part in the operational and financial success of a high-performing school. The successful candidate will lead on finance, HR, administration and site management, ensuring all business functions run efficiently. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to support school improvement and long-term planning. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise and excellent organisational skills. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Outstanding Ofsted Rated School in Winchester with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The school serves a diverse and ambitious community and is known for its supportive ethos. Students are respectful, motivated and eager to succeed, creating a calm and purposeful learning environment. Staff benefit from a collaborative professional culture, strong leadership and a clear focus on development.
