Job description
We are working with a school who are recruiting for a high-calibre School Business Assistant for an ASAP start in Oxford. This is a full-time, permanent position within a flagship secondary academy that prides itself on "Pride in Achievement" and its pioneering approach to school operations. The Role In this vital central role, you will provide the technical support required to ensure the school’s financial and administrative systems operate with total precision. We are looking for a professional with a pioneering spirit who can manage a diverse range of tasks—from processing invoices and managing the school budget to coordinating complex facility bookings. You will work within a technology-rich workspace, acting as a valued peer to the Senior Leadership Team. This role requires an individual who thrives in a scholarly, well-ordered atmosphere where professional excellence is viewed as the cornerstone of collective success. You will be responsible for ensuring that very little learning time is lost by maintaining a seamless and efficient business office, treating all staff and visitors with humanity and purposeful good humour. About the School Located in the academic heart of Oxford, this school is defined by a wonderful sense of tradition and consistently brilliant outcomes. It provides a tranquil and well-ordered workplace where staff are proud of their work and students treat others as equals. Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday, All Year Round) Start Date: ASAP | Contract: Permanent Salary: Paid based on experience (School Discretion) Requirement: Must have Right to Work in the UK and previous school experience is a must .
