The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities and Services Support Cell Technician Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Smurfit Westrock Northampton.
The role is an integral part of the site engineering team, with responsibilities to ensure safety, legislative compliance, reliability, people leadership and continuous improvement of our plant support services. This will include electrical infrastructure and distribution, production process extraction systems, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, industrial balers, gas distribution, water distribution and fire safety systems.
The role supports the management of maintenance contracts, working with the Engineering Manager and team to ensure ‘value-for-money' contracts and supporting compliance of statutory legislative and regulatory requirements.
