Payroll Senior Location: Exmouth Salary: Up to £34,000 (DOE) Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in their search for an experienced

Payroll Senior

to join their busy Payroll Services team in Exmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive firm in a varied, client-facing role within a fast-paced environment. Benefits Competitive salary up to £34,000 (DOE) Bonus scheme Company Pension Scheme Enhanced holiday package Flexible working options, including varied home working Ongoing training and development opportunities Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients (weekly and monthly) Review the work of payroll administrators, ensuring accuracy and high service standards Liaise with clients to obtain payroll information and provide auto-enrolment support Handle payroll-related payments and bank submissions Support the Head of Payroll Services with day-to-day operations Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their development Contribute to process improvements within the payroll function Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience within a UK practice Strong end-to-end payroll processing knowledge xrlawcv Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Confident IT user, including strong Excel skills Experience using Sage Payroll (essential) and Xero Payroll (desirable) Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment If you are an experienced Payroll professional looking for a new opportunity within a supportive and growing firm, we would love to hear from you.
