- Full-time
As a Technical Project Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and migration projects within the Core Banking Gateway Platform team, helping to build and enhance the regulated banking journeys our customers and members rely on.
This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll combine strong project leadership with the technical understanding needed to operate confidently within complex engineering environments. You'll manage multiple concurrent projects spanning AWS cloud platforms, APIs, system integrations and data, working closely with engineers, architects, testers, product owners and third-party delivery partners.
You'll take ownership of delivery from inception through to implementation and benefits realisation, managing scope, plans, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and critical-path milestones. You'll ensure the right governance and controls are in place while maintaining pace, transparency and a clear focus on outcomes.
You'll bring a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile delivery, DevOps and CI/CD, alongside practical knowledge of modern cloud and engineering technologies which is essential. You won't need to be an engineer, but you will need the technical confidence to understand complex discussions, ask the right questions, constructively challenge and translate technical issues into clear delivery impacts, decisions and actions.
You'll lead and influence multidisciplinary and matrix teams, build strong relationships with technology and business stakeholders and create the conditions for teams to deliver successfully. You'll proactively remove blockers, manage cross-team dependencies and continually look for opportunities to simplify delivery and improve how technology change is managed.
