Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging Chemistry lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in line with the National Curriculum and the school's Catholic ethos. Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore chemical concepts and theories with curiosity and enthusiasm. Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in chemistry education. Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Chemistry Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and fostering their understanding of chemical concepts and processes. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry, with a strong understanding of key chemical principles, theories, and practical skills. Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
