Job description
Are you a passionate Psychology Teacher eager to inspire and engage students in a thriving educational environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Psychology Teacher at a well-respected school in Rugby . The position offers the chance to teach KS4 and KS5 , with a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale and a supportive environment for professional growth. What You Will Be Doing: Teaching Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking. Creating dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculum, focusing on both theoretical and applied aspects of Psychology. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help students reach their potential. Encouraging a passion for Psychology, promoting a positive learning environment, and managing classroom behaviour effectively. What We Are Looking For: A qualified teacher with a degree in Psychology (or a related subject) and QTS (or equivalent). Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5 level (although ECTs are also welcome to apply). Passion for Psychology and the ability to inspire students to explore the subject at a deeper level. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities. A team player with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
