Job description
A respected Boys' School in Hammersmith seeks a dynamic History Teacher for a one-year fixed-term contract. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore the past and develop critical thinking skills. About Our Learning Community: Our school provides a challenging and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and character development. About the Role: Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of historical periods and themes. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that promote historical analysis and debate. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and historical projects. Contribute to departmental meetings and extracurricular history clubs. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History. Strong knowledge of historical methodologies and diverse historical periods. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. A passion for engaging boys in historical inquiry.
