Salary: £460 – £650 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2026
Do you have the confidence to manage a classroom and keep pupils engaged in their learning? A welcoming school in Barnsley is looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team from September 2026.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring pre-set work is delivered effectively and pupils remain focused and on task. You'll manage behaviour, answer pupils' questions and maintain a positive learning atmosphere across a range of subjects and year groups. GSL Education South Yorkshire are on hand throughout to support you with any queries as you settle into the role.
