About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a focus on female participation. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of sporting abilities and interests, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including fitness training, team sports, and individual activities, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual development. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level PE examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources, with a focus on female participation. Foster a love of sports and physical activity in students, encouraging them to develop their skills and confidence. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school teams, particularly those focused on female participation. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level PE examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Ability to inspire and motivate female students of all sporting abilities. A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting female participation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Benefits: Full-time, permanent position, starting September 2025.
