Job description
A dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher is sought by a high-achieving Independent Girls' school in Islington. The successful candidate will foster creativity, confidence, and a love of theatre in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging their dramatic talents. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons covering performance, script analysis, and theatre history. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Drama examinations and practical performances. Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic abilities. Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs and school productions. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a Drama or Performing Arts specialism. Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong knowledge of dramatic literature, performance techniques, and theatre history. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and directorial skills, capable of inspiring students. Benefits Inner London Payscale.
