Job description
A leading Mixed School in Haringey is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business & Economics Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Business & Economics Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 4 and 5 to understand the principles of business and the workings of the economy. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Business & Economics Teacher lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. Prepare students thoroughly for A-Level Business and Economics examinations. Develop students' understanding of key business concepts, economic theories, and market forces. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Business & Economics Teacher. Contribute to the development of the business and economics curriculum and resources. Encourage critical thinking and an appreciation for the world of business and finance. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Business Studies or Economics. Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics at secondary level, ideally including A-Level. Strong and comprehensive knowledge of business principles and economic theories. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students in the study of Business and Economics.
