Job description
Are you an Art Teacher with Graphics experience? We have a full-time temporary vacancy at an 11–16 secondary school in Newham starting this February half-term. About the Role This position covers KS3 and KS4 Art with Graphics. As this is a full teaching role, you will be expected to undertake all planning and marking duties. We are looking for a teacher who can hit the ground running. A mandatory T rial Day will be held on Wednesday, 11th February. About the School A friendly and diverse mixed secondary school in the heart of Newham . The department is well-resourced and provides a supportive environment for temporary staff. The school aims for "Excellent Learning and Progress," particularly within its high-achieving GCSE Art cohorts. Responsibilities Manage the Art/Graphics classroom and inspire students through practical demonstrations. Ensure all marking and student feedback is up to date for GCSE portfolios. Participate in departmental planning meetings and curriculum development. Requirements Strong technical skill in both fine art and graphic design. Right to work in the UK. The school cannot offer visa sponsorship. Available for the full school day on Wednesday, Feb 11th. Salary M1 – UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) Pro-rata. How to Apply Interested in this role?
