Job description
Are you a passionate Health & Social Care and Sociology Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Leicester? We are seeking a dedicated teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school, starting in April or sooner. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons at KS4 and KS5. The Role: Teaching Health & Social Care and Sociology to KS4 and KS5 students. Developing and delivering dynamic, high-quality lessons that foster a love for the subjects. Supporting students to achieve their best through effective assessment and tailored feedback. Contributing to the wider school community and working collaboratively with colleagues. The School: Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school with a strong reputation for academic excellence. A supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging both staff and students to thrive. Strong focus on teacher development, with excellent CPD opportunities. Well-resourced classrooms and access to modern teaching facilities. Requirements: A degree in Health & Social Care, Sociology, or a related field. QTS or PGCE qualification. The ability to teach both subjects confidently at KS4 and KS5. A passion for engaging students and fostering academic success. Salary & Benefits: MPS/UPS salary scale ( M1-UPS3) , with potential TLR for the right candidate.
