We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our Music department, starting September 2025. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following the National Curriculum and relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including instrumental instruction, vocal training, music theory, composition, and music technology, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Music examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and resources, ensuring it is inclusive and reflects the diverse interests of our students. Foster a love of music in students, encouraging them to develop their musical skills, creativity, and appreciation of different musical genres and cultures. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities such as school choirs, orchestras, bands, and musical productions. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Music. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Music examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and musical skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all musical abilities. A commitment to empowering young women through music education. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
