Location: Crawley Department: English Contract: Full-time, Permanent Job Title : English Teacher Candidate Profile: The ideal English Teacher will be: A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Experienced in teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4. (KS5 experience desirable, but not essential). Passionate about English and able to engage students of all abilities. A skilled classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management. Committed to raising attainment and fostering a love of reading and writing. A collaborative team player. Dedicated to ongoing professional development. Role Responsibilities: The English Teacher will: Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic English lessons. Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs. Regularly assess student progress; provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate student records. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues within the English department. Contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
