We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to understand the principles of health and social care, develop their practical skills, and foster a compassionate approach to care provision. About Our Learning Community: Our school is committed to providing a well-rounded education that values academic excellence, practical skills, and community engagement. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as care-related clubs, volunteering opportunities, and participation in health and social care events, to enhance student learning and provide opportunities for students to explore their interests. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Health and Social Care, Nursing, or a related field. Experience teaching Health and Social Care to GCSE and A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. A passion for fostering compassionate care and developing practical skills in young people. Knowledge of a wide range of health and social care theories, practices, and ethical considerations. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of the school. Benefits: Flexible part-time hours to suit your availability. Competitive salary (pro-rata MPS/UPS + Outer London Weighting). Access to well-equipped classrooms, resources, and practical care facilities to support health and social care teaching and learning.
