Job description
Painter and Decorator CubicWorks is a new business that concentrates on and delivers construction refurbishments, taking tried and tested formulas, shaking them up, then delivering for customer success. We design, create and maintain extraordinary spaces through our unique collaborative position with customers and partners. We deliver solutions sustainably, transparently and with integrity. We have recently started to deliver Facilities Management services and we are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator who can deliver high quality, snag-free painting and decorating works to join this team, working together with other site based trades to achieve its ambitious goals. The right person will be an experienced, energetic and motivated team player with good communication & interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise tasks, allowing you to complete projects smoothly and effectively. As a Painter and Decorator you will: Carry out all types of painting and decorating works, ensuring the standard of works is to the highest quality Work on multiple buildings across Manchester and Liverpool, with some travel to Leeds and Birmingham necessary. Communicate regularly with a central helpdesk team to ensure jobs are attended on time and deadlines are met to stay on programme Review drawings and ensure work is carried out in accordance with instructions given Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company's Health & Safety regulations Build great relationships with all colleagues and customers Carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device Order materials Other duties as needed The right person would also have the following qualities: Someone who has experience within the construction fit out and refurbishment sector, or has provided Facilities Management services before (essential) Someone who is highly organised, has meticulous attention to detail and is passionate about quality A confident communicator who likes to work collaboratively & is comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders Salary/benefits package Competitive salary Colleague incentive plan - company bonus Company pension up to 8% matched Healthcare cash plan with Westfield Colleague referral scheme 25 holiday days per annum, plus bank holidays Allocation of sick leave, dependant on length of service Group life assurance, 4x annual salary Extra holiday days on your birthday Enhanced maternity/paternity leave “We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.”
