Job description
A well-established and high-performing secondary school in Bromley is seeking a skilled and organised School Finance & Administration Officer to join its experienced support team. This is a key operational role within the school, offering the opportunity to work in a professional, well-structured environment where support staff are genuinely valued. The Role Working closely with the School Business Manager, you will play a central role in the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the school. Your responsibilities will span finance processing, data accuracy and general administration, supporting the smooth running of the school and ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Typical duties will include processing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budget monitoring, and responding to finance-related queries from staff and external suppliers. You will also assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, document management and supporting audits. This role suits someone who enjoys accuracy, responsibility and being a trusted part of a wider operational team.
