About the Psychology Teacher Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Psychology Teacher to join our successful Social Sciences department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Psychology at Key Stage 5 (A-Level), inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for this fascinating subject. Responsibilities of the Psychology Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore psychological concepts and develop their critical thinking skills. Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology , providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Psychology teaching. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Psychology or a related field. Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level, specifically A-Level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Psychology and A-Level exam specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
