A welcoming and well-established SEN secondary school in Leatherhead is seeking experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday | 8:15am – 4:45pm
As part of a caring and collaborative school community, you'll play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs
Assist with learning activities, engagement, and daily classroom routines
Encourage independence, confidence, and communication skills
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment throughout the school day
Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role is essential
Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Genuine enthusiasm for helping young people succeed and thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
