Job description
Our client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Design & Technology to join a high-performing Grammar School in Watford , renowned for its academic excellence, strong pastoral ethos, and vibrant co-curricular life. • Full-time Design & Technology Teacher (ECT) required from January 2026 • High-achieving Grammar School in Watford • Excellent opportunity for an ECT to begin their career in a supportive, ambitious, and academically focused environment This is an outstanding opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to join a forward-thinking and academically driven Design & Technology Department within a Grammar School where students are motivated, respectful, and eager to learn. The department is exceptionally well-resourced, offering modern workshops, specialist equipment, and strong technical support. ECTs benefit from a structured induction programme, dedicated mentoring, and excellent professional development. Experience and Qualifications • Qualified Design & Technology Teacher or ECT completing training • Passionate about creativity, problem-solving, and practical learning • Ability to teach Design & Technology across KS3–KS4 (KS5 support provided) • QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification • Commitment to professional growth and collaborative practice • Eligibility to work in the UK School Information This respected Grammar School in Watford is celebrated for its strong academic tradition, aspirational culture, and commitment to developing confident, capable young people.
