Job description
Inspire a Love of the World and its People About the School: We are a forward-thinking academy in Hounslow, committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares students for success in a globalised world. Our Geography department is passionate about fostering students' curiosity, critical thinking skills, and understanding of the world around them. About the Role: Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fieldwork, maps, GIS, and multimedia presentations, to bring Geography to life. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice. We are looking for: A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent. Excellent subject knowledge in Geography . A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. We offer: A competitive salary and benefits package.
