Job description
Politics & Sociology Teacher – Secure Top A-Level Results in a Prestigious Westminster Sixth Form – Westminster A prestigious, academic secondary school in Westminster with an outstanding Sixth Form is seeking a Politics and Sociology Teacher to join their Humanities department from January 2026. This role is predominantly focused on challenging KS5 teaching. Politics & Sociology Specialist required from January 2026 Westminster-based academic school near the political hub of London. Ideal for a specialist committed to rigorous debate and competitive university entry. The role involves teaching A-Level Politics and A-Level Sociology . You will be expected to design and execute highly challenging extension sessions, contribute to the school's Oxbridge preparation programme for Humanities applicants, and foster a culture of rigorous academic inquiry and debate. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Politics, Sociology, or a related Social Science . Proven ability to teach and achieve top results at A-Level in both subjects. Experience or capacity to mentor students through personal statement writing for Russell Group/Oxbridge. Commitment to maintaining a stimulating and rigorous classroom environment.
