The school provides a structured, supportive environment where expectations are clear and students are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions. The leadership team is supportive and recognises the importance of Behaviour Mentors in maintaining a positive school culture. Staff are provided with ongoing training, guidance, and opportunities for professional development. The school follows restorative and trauma-informed approaches , focusing on building relationships and long-term behaviour change rather than short-term sanctions. Students You Will Support Students requiring Behaviour Mentor support may: Display disruptive, impulsive, or withdrawn behaviour Struggle with emotional regulation or frustration tolerance Have SEMH needs, ADHD, or attachment-related challenges Experience difficulties with peer relationships Be at risk of exclusion or disengagement Your role is to help these students understand their emotions, develop self-control, and build confidence in their ability to succeed.
