Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Psychology Teacher looking for a new challenge? Join a supportive and thriving school in Derby as a Psychology Teacher for KS4 and KS5, with the added responsibility of a TLR for additional duties within the department. This is a full-time, permanent position with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in a highly regarded school. Key Details: Position: Psychology Teacher with TLR Location: Derby Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, based on experience, plus TLR for additional responsibilities Experience: Both experienced and ECT Psychology Teachers welcome to apply Role Responsibilities: Teach Psychology at KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A-Level), delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to foster a passion for the subject. Support students in their academic progress and exam preparation, offering tailored guidance and feedback. Contribute to the development of the Psychology department, helping shape curriculum delivery and teaching strategies. Take on a TLR responsibility, leading projects or initiatives that enhance student learning and outcomes in the Psychology department. Participate in extracurricular activities and support student well-being within the school community.
