Job description
The Role: Full-time GCSE Math Teacher focused on maximizing student engagement and progress at GCSE. Deliver engaging and challenging GCSE Math lessons, tailored to meet the needs of individual students. Implement effective assessment and feedback strategies to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement. Provide personalized academic support and guidance to students, including exam preparation and revision strategies. Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive learning environment. About the School: A progressive secondary school with a strong focus on student achievement and well-being. Supportive and collaborative math department committed to student success. Modern facilities and resources, including interactive whiteboards and digital learning platforms. Excellent pastoral support systems in place. Conveniently located with excellent transport links. The Ideal Candidate: A dedicated and passionate math specialist with a strong focus on student progress. Excellent understanding of the GCSE Math curriculum and assessment requirements. Ability to create engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Strong assessment and feedback skills, with the ability to monitor student progress and provide effective support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Mathematics or a related field. Experience teaching GCSE Math and a proven track record of student success. Knowledge of current assessment practices and curriculum developments. Right to work in the UK.
