Job description
An Outstanding Boys' school in Barnet is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Maths Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Maths Teacher will have a passion for mathematics and the ability to effectively engage and motivate male students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Mathematics examinations. Develop students' mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Maths Teacher. Contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum and resources. Encourage a positive attitude towards mathematics and its applications among boys. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics. Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong and comprehensive knowledge of mathematical concepts and pedagogy. Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for engaging boys. Ability to differentiate instruction effectively to meet diverse learning needs. A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment. Benefits Outer London Payscale.
