Job description
We are excited to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Enfield to recruit a committed Art & Design ECT. This full-time, permanent position starts in April 2026 and is an excellent opportunity for a creative teacher to join a successful department. The school is known for its robust ECT support package, providing the time and guidance needed for new teachers to flourish and develop their inspirational approach to delivering the curriculum. Responsibilities Teach engaging Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4 as a passionate practitioner Engage with a tailored ECT induction programme that focuses on classroom excellence Support students in achieving academic excellence through tailored creative methods Collaborate with a department of specialist teachers to maintain high standards Participate in professional development sessions designed specifically for ECTs Qualifications and Experience Degree in Fine Art, Design, or a related discipline PGCE or QTS (achieved or pending) Must have the right to work in the UK Salary and Benefits Salary Range: £37,868 to £56,154 (Outer London) Full-time, permanent position with a supportive and inclusive culture Dedicated ECT mentor and reduced timetable for professional study Excellent facilities and access to modern technology How to Apply If you’re a dedicated Art ECT ready to bring your expertise to a school that values holistic education, submit your CV now!
