Job description
A prestigious independent Boys' School in Harrow, North West London, renowned for its academic selectivity and outstanding reputation for character development, is recruiting a Teacher of Geography for a Permanent, Part-Time (0.8 FTE) contract. The successful candidate will start in January 2026. Compensation & Contract Job Title: Teacher of Geography Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (0.8 FTE) Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Pro-rata salary based on a highly competitive independent school scale. The Role The successful Teacher of Geography will deliver stimulating lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 classes, with potential for some A-Level teaching. The Teacher of Geography will be expected to organise and lead high-quality fieldwork and local studies. The school requires the Teacher of Geography to encourage strong analytical and spatial reasoning skills in all pupils. This permanent post offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teacher of Geography. The appointed Teacher of Geography will integrate fully with the supportive staff team.
