Job description
Finance Assistant – Good Secondary School – Leicester Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a Good secondary school in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial skills to support the school’s financial operations. The successful candidate will assist with invoicing, budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong numerical skills and a professional approach. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Good Ofsted Rated School in Leicester with a strong commitment to high standards and student wellbeing. The school serves a diverse community and provides a supportive environment for staff and students. The finance team plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school. Key Responsibilities: • Process invoices and transactions • Maintain financial records • Support budgeting processes • Liaise with suppliers • Assist with procurement • Ensure compliance Requirements: • Finance or administrative experience • Strong numerical skills • Attention to detail • Good IT skills • Organisation skills • School experience (desirable) Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible
