Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging PE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, incorporating a variety of sports and activities. Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in physical education. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential. Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and a belief in their physical abilities. Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings. Participate in whole-school events and initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit and contributing to the wider school community. Coach and mentor students in various sports and extracurricular activities, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to excellence. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Female PE Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and developing their physical literacy and sporting abilities. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for physical education, with a strong understanding of different sports, fitness activities, and pedagogical approaches. Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
