Job description
We are looking for a SENCO to work within a highly supportive secondary school based in Bournemouth. SENCO required from September to work on a full-time basis Successful and Inclusive Secondary School in Bournemouth Excellent SENCO to join a highly dedicated and well-resourced Inclusion department We are looking for a SENCO to lead the Special Educational Needs provision within a highly supportive school based in Bournemouth. This is a full-time position focused on overseeing the EHCP process, managing a team of Learning Support Assistants, and ensuring that all students with additional needs reach their full potential. The successful SENCO will be joining a well-resourced and highly successful department with an approachable and supportive senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the most inclusive schools in Dorset where the staff culture is collaborative and student wellbeing is at the heart of everything. Experience and Qualifications National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) is essential Be an enthusiastic, empathetic, and highly organized leader Have excellent subject knowledge regarding the SEND Code of Practice A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE) Legal ability to work within the UK School Information: This is a thriving school based in the heart of Bournemouth.
