SEN Teacher – Primary Schools
Location: Winchester and surrounding areas
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (dependent on experience, in line with MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to work within Primary Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across the Winchester area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, delivering tailored education and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning needs and abilities
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and development
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential)
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Compliance Requirements
Applicants must have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
