Insurance Account Handler
Insurance Account Handler - Northamptonshire - £30,000 - £40,000

The Job:
You will manage day to day servicing of agricultural and commercial insurance programmes, supporting Account Executives while providing excellent client service. Your role will include handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, new business and policy administration. Building strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues will be central, ensuring clients feel informed, confident and supported throughout the lifecycle of their policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a main point of contact for client enquiries, providing clear advice and regular updates
- Understand clients’ operations, particularly farming and rural businesses, to deliver tailored insurance solutions
- Prepare renewal documentation, obtain insurer quotations, issue policy documents, and maintain accurate records on the broking system
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers and underwriters, negotiating competitive terms
- Ensure compliance with FCA standards and internal procedures
- Support the smooth running of the office through general administration as required

The Candidate:
- Previous experience in commercial insurance broking or account handling; experience in agricultural or rural insurance is desirable
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a small team
- IT competent, ideally with Acturis experience, and familiar with Microsoft Office
- Friendly, approachable, and committed to professional development, including working towards or holding Cert CII qualification.

The Package:
- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
