Core Responsibilities Pedagogical Excellence: Planning and delivering high-energy, communicative lessons across KS3 & KS4 , with potential opportunities to lead A-Level Spanish groups. Target Language Mastery: Creating an immersive environment by using Spanish as the primary medium of instruction, encouraging students to build spontaneous speaking confidence from Year 7 onwards. Cultural Enrichment: Integrating authentic Hispanic culture—including film, music, literature, and gastronomy—into the curriculum to foster a genuine curiosity and global citizenship. Linguistic Scaffolding: Implementing evidence-based methodologies (such as EPI or Sentence Builders ) to ensure students master complex Spanish grammar and the "rolling R" of Castilian and Latin American phonics. Exam Mastery: Guiding GCSE cohorts through the AQA or Pearson Edexcel specifications, utilising rigorous listening, reading, and translation practice to secure outstanding results.
