A leadership role which is a key member of PrimeFlights Operations team being responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of PrimeFlight through inspirational leadership alongside the optimisation of all aspects of Airport Operations; to enhance PrimeFlight's emerging brand into a market leader in terms of Safety, Quality and People Through Financial discipline, having timely and precise control of operational budgets, especially in regards to the deployment of people and GSE resources to ensure that all direct costs are 1. Within budget 2. Not exceeding those contracted (paid for); in order to deliver financially sustainable operations and meet shareholder commitments. Owning and driving out-standing performance through the following KPIs (being the Airport Operations DNA) The Station Manager will be a meticulous problem solver, confident to challenge and question operational processes, identify inefficiencies and diagnose problems, to simplify and optimise operations. Personality and a can-do attitude are key to success, being able to lead by example, coach, mentor, and inspire the operational team, building the PrimeFlight Airport Operations employer brand through trust and authenticity. With an entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record in the delivery of material growth the Station Manager will identify and support opportunities to deliver organic business growth, greenfield entry into new markets, M&A and other major projects that align with the overall PrimeFlight business strategy. Role Responsibilities: Ensure safe and secure operations in all aspects. Delivery of EBITDA and cash targets, securing a financially sustainable business P&L accountability Increase focus, accountability and business performance through the application and measurement of the following KPIs; Revenue / Weighted Flight (Ton), Direct Cost / Weighted Flight (Ton), Gross Profit / Weighted Flight (Ton), Worked Hours / Weighted Flight (Ton), Direct Cost / FTE. Act as a visionary leader, providing insights across all facets of the Airport Operations business, including market dynamics, commercial strategies, operations, and support functions, to shape a forward-thinking direction for your airport organisation. Uphold the highest standards by ensuring policies, governance, and legal guidelines are effectively communicated and adhered to by all stakeholders, protecting our shareholder and brand value. Foster long-term, sustainable, trust-based relationships with customers, authorities, business partners, and relevant stakeholders, enhancing PrimeFlights presence and reputation. Analyse and anticipate problematic situations, irregular operations and/or business disruption providing solutions to ensure financial health, business sustainability and growth. Represent your stations business consistently and with professionalism - facing the Regional Manager and workforce with confidence and skill. Elevate PrimeFlight as the preferred employer in the market, attracting top talent, and creating a dynamic workforce that embodies a global perspective. Coach, mentor, and inspire the airport team, empower your direct reports, and hold them accountable, providing guidance and motivation to maximize performance. Partnering with the HR Business Partners to deliver effective and strategic people solutions. Develop and execute innovative business plans to enhance direct labour cost-efficiency, in alignment with our strategic KPI of worked hours per turnaround whilst embracing technological advancements. Responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the station. Be our ambassador, representing PrimeFlight in a professional and brand-aligned manner, reflecting our values and business strategy in public speaking engagements and representational appearances. Carry out additional duties as may be reasonably requested by the Regional Manager . What were looking for? Bachelor’s degree plus a relevant post-graduate professional qualification or equivalent experience. Proven track record of exceptional performance and service delivery in airport operations (or equivalent/adjacent sector e.g logistics) leadership role, including leading a station level team of aviation professionals. Having direct and full P&L ownership experience of a comparable size and complexity of business. A proven track record of delivering profitable financial results within a commoditised marketplace. Evidence of having a passion for working with people and working beyond the confines of the job description. Outstanding communication skills – able to deliver bad news and give it a positive outlook as well as ability to influence senior stakeholders. Proven organisation skills and ability to prioritise.
