Job description
School Administrator – High-Performing Secondary School – York Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a highly organised and efficient School Administrator to join a high-performing secondary school in York. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and supporting the smooth running of a busy school. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the school, ensuring that systems and processes are maintained effectively. You will manage student records, coordinate communication and support staff and leadership with a range of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Good Ofsted Rated School in York with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The school serves a diverse community and is known for its supportive ethos, where positive relationships and high expectations underpin daily practice. Students are respectful, motivated and eager to succeed, creating a calm and purposeful learning environment.
