Job description

Registered Nurse -night shifts Care Centre,provides residential and nursing care for up to 160 residents requiring general nursing needs and end of life care. The home can care for those living with dementia, younger adults with physical disabilities and mental health needs. Looking for Registered Nurse with experience in a similar role living in London or able to relocate. Sponsorship provided! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate exceptional knowledge of anatomy. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment journey. Available Hours:33-44 hours per week Long shifts, 12-hour shift, 8pm-8am Paid breaks Night shift Pay rate: £20-£20.5 per hour Location: West London Our qualified nursing team are available 24 hours a day to provide medical and other forms of specialised support. Respecting older people and recognising each resident as a unique individual, our nurses provide not just high-quality nursing skills, but truly person-centred care. About the Role: Some of the responsabilities: Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress. Monitor and review Nursing Care plans. Evaluate and respond to changes in patient condition and needs. Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families / carers. Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team. Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested. Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonable practicable a safe environment. Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests, enquiries and suggestions. Helps to promote and to maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient / relatives and carers. Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice at least Monthly. Work in accordance with safeguarding adult and children policies and requirements. Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health, Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met. Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care Maintaining the required medical documentation Upholding residents rights to privacy, dignity and choice Reporting any ill health among the residents and request professional visits when necessary Familiarising yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Councils (NMCS) code of professional conduct Please note we are only accepting candidates with a UK active PIN, experience in the UK at least 1 year or even Newly qualified nurses The main requirements for this role are: * Must be a registered nurse (current PIN number with NMC) *A genuine desire to work with the elderly *The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills *The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently *Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills *Someone with a calm nature who can deal with, and defuse, challenging situations *Knowledgeable about assessment, admission and discharge processes *Knowledgeable of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and committed to working within its Codes of Practice. *Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: *Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications *Comprehensive health insurance coverage *Retirement savings plan with employer match *Paid time off for vacation, sick leave, and holidays *Continuing education opportunities for professional development *Excellent supervision, peer support, learning opportunities and career prospects *Free DBS check 24/7 counselling and support *Free onsite parking *Free meal *Employee discount scheme Apply Now!
