Job description
Behaviour Mentor – Inclusive Secondary School – Sheffield Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join an inclusive secondary school in Sheffield. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, providing mentoring, guidance and structured interventions. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students to engage fully with their education. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, patience and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families. You will work as part of a committed pastoral team focused on student wellbeing and achievement. School Information: This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Independent Secondary School in Sheffield with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The school serves a diverse community and is known for its supportive ethos, where positive relationships and high expectations underpin daily practice. Students are respectful, motivated and eager to succeed, creating a calm and purposeful learning environment. Pastoral support is a key strength of the school, and the Behaviour Mentor plays an essential role in ensuring students succeed.
