Job description
A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Bristol is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead its SEND provision from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SENCO to join a school that places inclusion, wellbeing, and student progress at the heart of its ethos. The successful SENCO will oversee all aspects of SEND provision, ensuring that students with additional needs are effectively supported to achieve their full potential. SENCO required – September start Inclusive secondary school in Bristol Leadership of SEND provision across the school Key role within the pastoral and inclusion team The Role The school is looking for an organised and strategic SENCO who can lead SEND provision while working closely with staff, families, and external agencies. Key responsibilities of the SENCO include: Leading and managing SEND provision across the school Overseeing and reviewing EHCPs and support plans Coordinating interventions and monitoring student progress Supporting staff with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and school policies The School This inclusive secondary school in Bristol is known for its strong pastoral care, supportive leadership, and commitment to ensuring every student feels valued and supported.
