Job description
A forward-thinking and dynamic secondary school in Bath is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead its SEND provision from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SENCO to join an ambitious school that places inclusion, progress, and student wellbeing at the heart of its ethos. The successful SENCO will oversee all aspects of SEND provision, ensuring that students with additional needs are effectively supported to achieve their full potential. SENCO required – September start Dynamic secondary school in Bath Leadership of SEND provision across the school Key role within the pastoral and inclusion team The Role The school is looking for an organised and strategic SENCO who can lead SEND provision while working closely with staff, families, and external agencies. Key responsibilities of the SENCO include: Leading and managing SEND provision across the school Overseeing and reviewing EHCPs and support plans Coordinating interventions and monitoring student progress Supporting staff with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and school policies The School This dynamic secondary school in Bath is known for its strong leadership, positive learning environment, and commitment to continuous improvement.
