Job description
A well-established all-through school in Oxfordshire is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised environment across multiple school sites. About the School: The school caters to students from primary through secondary levels and has a strong reputation for academic achievement and community spirit. With multiple sites and extensive facilities, the school prioritises health, safety, and creating a positive learning environment for all students and staff. About the Role: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, and security of multiple school sites Conduct regular inspections to ensure health and safety standards are met Assist with minor repairs, maintenance tasks, and reporting larger issues Support the setup of facilities for school events, activities, and daily operations Work closely with the leadership and facilities teams to ensure smooth running across all sites The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience in site management, maintenance, or caretaking, preferably in an educational setting Be reliable, proactive, and flexible, with strong organisational skills Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities Be committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students and staff Be comfortable moving between multiple sites and managing priorities effectively Why This Role?
