Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant – Kingston

Location: Kingston upon Thames, Greater London
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term/Permanent
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Kingston.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Support pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
  • Promote pupils’ confidence, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
